Mind Wonders

This is my face overlay. I have used to textures that I have merged together. One in which is the red ish colouring and the other being the darker gray and black texture. I had placed the just the black gray texture over but I thought it needed something to bring out a nicer texture. Adding the same texture but in a different colour allows  a more predominate texture. I am happy with the way it turned out.

This is my Surrealism assignment. I would have liked to add a few more things to it but ran out of time. So this is how it has turned out. My sky is three different images merged to make one. The clock face is its own layer as well as the eggs and the Tombstone Keep Going sign. Techniques i used here will help me with future projects.

Silk Screen

 

This is my Silk Screen. I am happy with the way it turned out but in the future when i do something like this i would make sure that the photo i start with has more skin around my neck and shoulders so that i have a better effect of colour. Doing this assignment i learn to change the colour of a selected area. This will be useful for assignment in the future.

Fire Hydrant- Black and white

This is a photo that i took. I then put it into Photoshop and transformed it into black and white. After that was done i used the special effects to make it look a little more artsy . I used the special effect was smudge stick. I chose this one because  i thought that it looked like some had drawn it which made it have the look i wanted. I am happy with the way my photo turned out!

Meet My New Kid Josh

      Meet my new kid Josh. Josh is a transfer student and is looking for some new friends.

     I think he looks believable. I learned from this assignment how to erase body parts from a face and replace the empty spot with a new eye or mouth. 

      I am happy with the end result of my New Kid.

Mr. Potato Head

This is my version of Mr. Potato Head. 

        During this activity i learned to use the different tools in Photo shop. I Learned to copy and paste images and how to edit them and make them into another image. I learned the proper way to take the extra around the image i want away with the eraser tool. 

       I am now familiar with photo shop and feel comfortable using it.
